Narbonne is a city rich in its history, its architecture and its art. Le massif from Clape

At the heart of the Narbonnaise Regional Natural Park stands the La Clape massif. This preserved territory has varied landscapes ranging from vineyards to scrubland plateaus and wooded valleys. For lovers of hiking or cycling, the Clape massif will satisfy all your desires.

Gruissan and its chalet beach

This small village in Aude, bordering the Mediterranean Sea, is a few minutes' drive from your guest house in the center of Narbonne. Gruissan is a typical village where you can indulge in various activities: visiting salt marshes, discovering historical monuments and relaxing on the beaches, including its most famous "chalet beach" made famous by the film "37°2 in the morning" by Jean Jacques Beineix. Emblematic of the region, the wooden houses on stilts are a real curiosity where it is good to recharge your batteries.

The beaches

For a session of relaxation, under the Aude sun, head to the 5 km of fine sand at Narbonne-Plage. For lovers of thrills, kitesurfing, windsurfing and sand yachting, go to the town of Leucate a few kilometers from Narbonne. On the beach of La Franqui the Mondial du vent is held every year.

The Bages-Sigean pond

This lagoon pond is located less than 15 km from your guest house in the center of Narbonne. For a total change of scenery, in a wild and preserved area, go to the Bages-Sigean pond where walks along the water, sunsets, lazing around in the sun and water activities will be there.

Fontfroide Abbey

This abbey is located in the heart of the Narbonnaise regional natural park. Surrounded by vineyards, this sumptuous monument has been nestled in the heart of nature in a green setting for 1000 years. Several trails invite you to appreciate splendid landscapes, crisscrossing the scrubland, but also the vine which produces the famous Corbières wine.

No more need to choose between different dishes and desserts, in the restaurant Les Grands Buffets, you can taste everything. The largest buffet in France opens its doors to all lovers of traditional French cuisine. For the record: this restaurant holds the record for the largest number of cheeses on a platter in the world.
